Katrina Foster, BSN, RN, CNOR
After graduating from UCLA in 2009, Katrina moved to San Francisco and obtained a position with a pioneer in FTM (female-to-male) top surgery, Michael Brownstein, MD. Her initial experience with the FTM community inspired Katrina to obtain her BSN at Samuel Merritt University in order to further her service to the transgender community.
Katrina went on to collaborate with many renowned Gender Affirmation surgeons, in both the office and surgical settings. Fusing her administrative and clinical experience, she spearheaded the creation of the first Center of Excellence in Gender Affirmation Surgery in 2019.
Katrina has opened KAF Consulting, Inc to focus on advising new Centers of Excellence, heading provider contract negotiations, improving clinical efficiencies and organization, and revenue cycle auditing. These service offerings are tailored to allow providers to focus on providing their patients with the highest quality care.
